Which motherbard

Hey guys which motherbaord should I get for my athlon 1000? Right now I could get an Abit KT7A for $85 or an ASUS a7v133 with raid for $90. Both are brand new. I was planning on unlocking the cpu so I wanted the one that would overclock better and offer more stability.

id say screw them and go with the iwill kk266plus i love mine.. i hear even the kk266 non plus are still kick ***.. but i dont know what the diff is between the 2..

I would love to take your advice, but I'm realy short on money so I was planning on buying from a co-worker.

From what I've heard, they are both good boards. I would probably go with the Asus, I have heard good things about them from a friend, but I have no experience of Abit boards.

Both are KT133A based boards, they will both perform admirably. If you are short of cash, go for the Abit, even though $5 isn't that much.
