Weather heated up again and my overclock started being unstable. I hate opening my case 'cause every time I do, I break something or mess something up. Opened the front of my case and vacuumed a nice layer of dust blocking the front intake fans. Then folded a paper towel, wet it with water and took off a small layer of dust from the top of the heatsink (under the fan).

Freaking 13° Celsius lower.

The price? As usual, broke something: a pin on my video card connector:

I've mentioned this before, but an electric leaf blower will clean all the dust out of a case without touching anything. It takes about 20 seconds. (Just remember to do it outside!)

dust filters are your friend lol.
seriously its easy as pie to make some out of old pantyhose and duct tape.then you rarely have to open your case :D
good luck with the pin, sounds like it may not be that bad tho?
