I recently (Within the past month) Bought as Desktop from a guy. I am rather tech savvy but I'm having some issues because I have never dealt with this MOBO.

So anyway, I have been having trouble with the drives. It will not recognize any drive I put in there. The power cables are fine, everything is plugged in. I even tried a different ribbon cable. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!

I'm currently running:

Are you able to see any drives in the BIOS? Check all of your connectors/ribbons/sata cables one more time just to make sure. Check to make sure you didn't put any cables/ribbons in the wrong location on the mobo. Check the power coming out of the connectors if you can with a volt meter. You may want to re-seat everything too.

I'm kinda having the same problem as you, but I can see my dvd-rom and not my HDD.

Hopefully for you it's just a cable. I think my mobo is bad.

Yes

I have triple checked them all, the old drive that was in it would "sometimes" work and most of the time not. I thing i will just take everything out and check for any cosmetic problems and if it seems good just put it back together and hope for the best. Thanks! :comp:
