G.SKILL has just announce the latest addition to their already impressive line of DDR4 Memory. The Ripjaws V series now boasts a 128GB (16GBx8) memory kit designed for the x99 platform. With a rated speed of 3200Mhz and CL 14-14-14-34 @ 1.34v, it is faster and has tighter timings than the standard 2133Mhz 15-15-15-35 kits. This is big news for X99 owners and proves G.SKILL’s continued commitment to the X99 platform.
Here you can see the Latest Ripjaws V in action. Installed in an MSI X99A GODLIKE Gaming motherboard with an Intel Core i7-5960X processor, G.SKILL tested this kit for 42 hours of MemTest. All images courtesy of G.SKILL.

This kit will come equipped with XMP 2.0 profiles for easy and fast installations. You should begin to see these hitting the shelves and normal G.SKILL e-tailers late February 2016. They will come with a hefty price tag of $1069.99, but keep in mind, this will be the fastest 128GB kit available and at $8.36/GB that puts them right on par with their competitors.
