Gigabyte Prizes for Overclockers.com / OC Forum Members

Interested?

OC Forum members will be competing in the Gigabyte Open Overclocking Championship in Taipei on Sept. 25th, 2008. For those who missed it, Gigabyte has held regional events all over the world to pull together the best overclockers for the Finals in Taiwan. The US Regional event was held in Los Angeles on June 26th, 2008.

OCF was well represented at the regional US event, with forum members Ross, El<(‘)>Maxi, Gautam, toddm27 and sno.lcn in attendance. Ross and El<(‘)>Maxi (Mark) took the top two spots (read about it here) and both will be on their way to Taiwan to compete as Team USA 1. OC Forum member Deanzo took top honors at the Australia regional event last month and will also be joining the ranks at the Finals.

So what about these prizes that were mentioned? If you won’t be going to Taipei to compete in the GOOC, that doesn’t mean that you can’t still win! Gigabyte is running a contest available to OC Forum members to go along with the event. Check out the GOOC website, follow the rules and enter the Guess the Winner contest. If you correctly choose the winner of the event, you could win some nice gear!
