head over to xtremesystems forun and look for the droop mod and vdimm mod. They really work, I did the vdimm mod with grabbers.:D

I had a IS7-E, did good overclock with my 2.6C, but a few things makes me go with P4C800-E.

Problems with HD Led, temperature reading with +- 10ºC more than real, crackling sound in mic...etc...and the noise NB Fan...

In Abit forum, some guys report the same problems with IC7-G and Max3...so i change to ASUS, besides i like Abit more...

I'm happy now.

Burning Phoenix, i am planing on getting the same combu you just recieved (2.4c Northy w/ the ASUS P4C800) so tell me what ya think of it :)

I can do 25% overclocks on both systems with no problems. If you want to go higher i'd suggest getting Mushkin Black Level II DDR though.

Asus usually uses better components than the majority of Motherboard makers, but recently Asus had to recall some AMD Asus K8v Deluxe's, so maybe Asus is slipping.

can i get a linky on this recall/ problems with the k8v...
