My newest stuff is the server in my sig.

Got the guts from a 1U that I got on the cheap. Picked up a SATA card, ATX case and PSU.

Now its folding, running two Minecraft servers and a Vent server. Getting Media Center set up as well as an FTP server.

Yet I was responding to Asus Rog's "high end" gaming rig...

Because i have see a lot of super high end gaming over the year so i got use to see max out everything machine
I remember at Intel LAN fest last year in Atlanta that i go to, i saw a what could be call an over the top pc, the case alone have already cost over $5000
because the guy have dip chrome the case not spray chrome and that alone cost over $5000, plus the case is custom build, it hold 2 different pc, one for normal everyday use run 2 gtx 660 ti and one is extreme build run 4 GTX 680 4GB i7 3690x, liquid cool everything
I would say that pc cost no less than $12000 to build

Well, that's insane xD
But a 7950 equipped 3570k rig is not mid range...performance wise.
You can spend all that you want on gimmicks and looks but performance is performance.

thats right 15" LOL

Bought me an NZXT Sentry Mesh to control these 2 problematic MassCool fans, I still think something may be wrong with them, as the same model of fan on the roof of the case makes little noise and it runs much faster than 40%, but it may just be me as well. They actually get quiter for a time around mid-RPM, maybe start up voltage is making them noisy, or something. Eh. The one on the roof is like hummmmmmmmmmmmm, while the ones on the sides are like higher pitched, its so hard to explain.

I got the fan controller because if I plugged these into the mobo they'd make horrible whining sounds (max RPM) now they're still kind of whiney (which the same model masscool fan on the roof of my case is not whiney and is great) but hardly noticeable. You guys have any good 120mm medium-to-high speed fans you know about? I love my 140mm exhaust Yate Loon, its so quiet compared to these things and runs at 3,000 RPM happily with medium noise.

Thanks NZXT!

Personally, I roll LG for my monitors, but my roommate has an Asus and it looks really good too.
