i think i've kill my mobo pls help

Hi i was installing my brand new alpha pal8045 on my motherboard and everything went allright except when i turned the switch on of my computer and then the power just run for few seconds then stopped. The processor is not cracked or burned just don't know how to fix it because i've been trying for a couple of times and still have the problem.
the power just run for 5 seconds then it turns off anyone knows whats going on?

I've just found out the problem lol a silly one really silly

how silly was it?
could it be your power button was stuck and the system kept rebooting every 4 seconds?
