That time has come again and we've entered the last leg of our CPU marathon. Picked something easier this month and hopefully can get a few more people involved. Hwbot x265 qualifies for all three point categories at the bot in both 4K and 1080p so let er rip and maybe gain a few team points while you're at it.

Now this I'm looking forward to Let's see if I can reclaim 2nd place for the 8350k with my new improved ram timings. 1st place would take a heroic CPU OC... I might have to finally set up my outdoor bench area and see if that gives me the edge.

Well, I am near Venice Italy where it is quite chilly tonight (not Ontario chilly, but around minus 2 or 3 at 4AM).

WIll do a few runs! Might grab some more points on the bot as well!

Edit: a couple of bottle of Prosecco will help!

Funny you say that it's been quite warm this season. We're still barely below freezing at night and have the odd day where it's 15° through the day. That's supposed to change late next week

And one for team red. This test seems more of a stress than other benches. System isn't quite stable at 4 GHz so I had to back off a little to get a good run in. I'm already throwing silly voltage at it. Think it is getting a little too warm.

Looks good other than the HPET timer not being active (not sure if this is required or not) Run it without the monitoring enabled and change the priority to real-time. You can try running it with P-mode or Overkill mode set to 2x or both. Some systems benefit from those settings while others don't. I have never played with the FX series so im not sure how to tweak for them really.

windblows updated on me last night and now there is no way to view any photo formats!!!!!!!!!
I know it updated because I left it rendering and this morning it was at the desk top idle.
when I try to open the background it asks what app I want to use and only offers paint and when I go to set program defaults it only offers to open tifs in paint, just shows what we have always known, micro sucks, macro sucks.
