That is one sweet looking build. Mine is so messy (non modular PSU and have an external 480 rad mounted on the back and the wires aren't long enough to hide)

I'm new around here - I still have some things I want to get done like getting the GPU's on water as well but this was first attempt @ a watercooling build.

i7 980x
EVGA 760 Motherboard
2x GTX 470SC
2x 80gb Intel SSD in RAID0

Of course there's a lot more in the system but, anywho I figured I would make my first post a contribution to the thread :)

how're those ssd's doing in raid with no trim support?

So far so good - I've accepted the fact that I may have to clone the image from them to a spare disc and reset them back to factory default w/ HDDERASE at some point, maybe... Although, I have talked to a handful of people over on the EVGA forums that have the same setup that have never had to touch there RAID setup and are still pushing 500mb/s+

yea, they'll outperform a single ssd for a good long while...I just don't know how rapid the falloff is...

Wow very nice setup

very nice like it alot

My first water cooled system:

480_I920_v3.jpg

480_I920.jpg

... and the test (3.2GHz for now):

idle:
water (I have sensor) - 32C
RAM - 42C
inside case - 32C
Core 42-37-40-38C
GPU - 39C

San,

Are your rad fans blowing air up through the rad? Could explain your temps.
CPU load (prime95 large FFP)
water - 35C
RAM - 49C
inside case - 32C
Core 59-55-57-55
GPU - 42C

load1.png

As you can see, the temperature of CPU jumps up 15C when prime95 starts and drops down immediately when I stop the test.
Is it normal? I mean 15C between core and water?
