Hi, got my waterblock and all its fittings today but it didnt come with any instructions. Its a Atlantis rev 3 waterblock. With it i got these 4 threaded rods, 8 nuts, 8 washers, 4 springs and 4 thumb screws.

What order do they fix onto your mobo through the rods? Is it, 2 bolts, washer, mobo, waterblock, washer, spring, thumb screw?

Thx

Normally, you put a washer on the threaded rod first. You then push the rod through the bottom of the motherboard so your washer is in contact with the bottom of the board, not the rod. You then put another washer on the rod so that the washer is in contact with the top of the motherboard. After that, you put down a bolt to hold that rod in place. Repeat 3 more times with the other rods. Now you slip the water block onto the 4 rods. You then put the springs on the 4 rods right above the waterblock, then use the thrumbsrews to secure the waterblock down. Make sure you tighten the thumb screws evenly so you get even pressure on the block. Go about a half a turn on each at a time unitl the block is secured and tight.
