Gigabyte GTX 1060 Xtreme Gaming 6G Video Card Review

Today we get to take another look at a GTX 1060. This time it is from our friends at Gigabyte. This go around they have sent us their top of the line 1060 in the Xtreme Gaming 6G. If you remember our review of the GTX 970 Xtreme Gaming, the card was certainly a beast. Being a little down the pecking order, I am not sure what this Xtreme version will deliver, but if its anything like previous versions, it should be worth it for a lot of users. Let’s take a look and see what features were brought forward and how it performs!

Gigabyte Z170X Designare Motherboard Review

GIGABYTE has released a new motherboard based on the LGA 1151 platform as a little brother to the recently reviewed X99 Designare EX. This newest board is the Z170X Designare. Much like its big brother this board features extensive RGB LED control, a VRM which is more than adequate, and much more. Get comfortable, we’re in for the long haul on this one!

Gigabyte X99 Designare EX Motherboard Review

With all manufacturers releasing refreshed boards due to Broadwell-E launching we see a new contender from Gigabyte, their X99 Designare EX. Like me, I’m sure the first new feature you’ll notice about the Designare is the RGB lighting, but they have added plenty more than just lights. DIMM shielding, a PLX chip, and a few other features also add performance benefits. Pull up a seat, don your reading glasses, and we’ll dive in to this board!

EKWB GIGABYTE GTX 980 Ti Xtreme Gaming Full Cover Waterblock Review

EKWB has released a lot of great cooling solutions, be it, CPU blocks, GPU blocks, parts for a loop, or entire custom loop kits. We reviewed the full cover block EK made for the 295×2 previously and with good results in our loop. Today we are going to look at another high-performance full cover water block made especially for Gigabyte’s monster GTX 980 Ti Xtreme Gaming card. The EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG reviewed here actively cools the RAM, GPU, and VRM’s with water flowing directly over top of them. If its anything like the results we saw before, things are are going to get a lot cooler around here!

GIGABYTE Z170X SOC Force Motherboard Review

It has been several weeks since we had an opportunity to review a Z170 board from our friends at GIGABYTE, but, I have to imagine the wait will be worth it. We (and by ‘we’ I mean Mattno5ss) previously reviewed a mid-range offering, the Z170X UD5 which turned out to be quite a good board. This time around, we get to focus on their flagship overclocking board, the venerable, Z170X SOC Force.

Gigabyte GTX 970 Extreme Video Card Review

Over the years, Gigabyte has released many products that are good, and many other products that are good AND focused on overclocking (think their SOC Force motherboards). One thing we haven’t seen on from them, on that front, is within their GPU lineup. Sure, the Windforce line is more than solid with the cooler, but their new “Extreme” line should take their video cards to another level. Gigabyte promises a better overclocking GPU with their sorting technology, dubbed Gauntlet sorting, high factory overclocks, good cooling, durability, protection, and being Xtreme friendly. Let’s take a look and see what they did on the GTX 970 Extreme we have to review!
