Sothefox if you only needed 1.36 cpu v to pass 2 hours prime blend @ 4.4 you seem to have a pretty good chip on your hands. Now that you have that accomplished you should set you memory to 1866 and manually set the timings. Then re run prime for 2 hours to see if it's stable.

When I tried upping the frequency to 1866 earlier my system wouldnt boot. The dram voltage is set to 1.50 atm.Is the voltage the problem and should I up that or is it something else? Also On channel set A timings there is nothing is that normal? in channel set b timings theres some values in there already  lol

It was more than likely the timings. You have to set all of it manually. Your voltage is rated at 1.5 for 1866 but you could add .02 and maybe a bit to your CPU_NB voltage if you can't stabilize.

Thats my bios if it can shed some light on the situation.

Take DRAM Timing Selectable off of auto.

Then you can change it.

Just follow the profile you posted in the spd tab from CPU-z

I followed the spd tab and changed the values there just fine. And I can set the dram timing to expert to set it manually. But even then whenever I change the system memory multiplier to 9.33(1866) it fails to boot :(

Try it with RAM Voltage at 1.65V and the multiplier at 1866.

Nothing still fail to boot after voltage increase, feel like my computer is giving me the finger right now lol :fight:

Try these timings. 9-10-10-29-37 2T and voltage at 1.52 That ram may not like the higher volyage.

still failing to boot.Ive changed the voltage went into both channel timing settings and changed only the values that I was supposed to and changed the system memory multiplier to reflect 1866.Just thought id post a step by step of what ive done but it just seems to not want to work in any way shape or form >=/

In your signature you leave out likely the most important piece. The motherboard make and model and REvision. Bios in use maybe key since it is a giga board.
RGone...

Sorry about that I posted it at the beginning of this and thought I actually had put in my sig x3 Correcting now.

I don't see where you show the Revision of that 970 UD3 motherboard and it makes one h*ll of a difference if it is a newer REV 3.0 board. The bios makes a huge difference if the board is REV 3.0. Gigabyte seems to have done nO favors to the users with the REV 3.0 of the 970 UD3. So what is it?
RGone...

Found it.Its rev 3.0 thanks for the help on that =]
