Nvidia Releases GeForce Game Ready 496.49 WHQL Driver

This week Nvidia released its GeForce Game Ready 496.49 WHQL driver. This latest driver provides support for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Age of Empires IV, Battlefield 2042, and many more. This update also fixes a few bugs in Doom 3: BFG Edition, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and a random black screen issue with LG OLED C1 series monitors. AMD Radeon Adrenalin 21.10.3 Software Released

AMD recently released its latest software driver Radeon Adrenalin 21.10.3. This update provides support for several games including, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Riders Republic, Doom Eternal, and Age of Empires IV. Also included in this patch are known bug fixes such as a lack of CPU tuning options for some Ryzen 5950X users, elevated disk space consumption in Multimedia Athena Dumps folder, and game crashes while playing Battlefield V with some AMD GPUs. Windows 11 Update Restores Performance in AMD Ryzen Processors

Several days ago, we found out that under Windows 11 some applications and games performed a few percentage points slower on AMD CPUs. This slow down was because of an issue with L3 cache latency increasing significantly and AMD’s “preferred core” not always preferentially scheduling threads on a processor’s fastest core. Microsoft and AMD have been hard at work behind the scenes readying an update to restore the lost performance. That day is here.

Today, Alphacool announced the Eisbaer Pro Aurora series All-In-One CPU cooler line-up. G.Skill Announces World’s Fastest DDR5 Memory Kits

Today, G.Skill announced its newest Trident Z5 memory kits boasting the fastest DDR5 speeds to date. These kits run at a blistering 6600 MT/s with a low latency of CL36. Corsair Launches ELITE LCD AIO Liquid coolers

Yesterday, Corsair launched an ELITE LCD for many of its AIO liquid coolers. The iCUE ELITE LCD is available as an upgrade and is included in many of the ELITE series coolers. It features a 2.1″ IPS liquid crystal screen and displays various system statuses including temperature and clock speeds, or you can customize it with GIFs, videos, or images. The new ELITE AIO coolers include ML RGB ELITE fans featuring magnetic levitation bearings, addressable RGB LEDs, PWM control, and speeds up to 2,000 RPM. There are several models of ELITE coolers available so pricing varies but the upgrade kit for the LCD is $99.99 at the Corsair online store. MSI Offers Free LGA1700 Mount For AIO Coolers

MSI announced a free AIO cooler mount upgrade for Intel’s upcoming LGA1700 socket. If you own the MPG CORELIQUID K Series and MAG CORELIQUID R Series, you will need the new mount. If you have the MEG Coreliquid S, MAG Coreliquid C, or MAG Coreliquid P series coolers, you are already set for LGA1700. MSI MPG Sekira 100R Mid-Tower Case Review

Today, we take a look at MSI’s MPG Sekira 100R mid-tower chassis. This is the second review of a series of new MSI cases announced in August, the first being the MSI MPG Gungnir 110R. The Sekira 100R is a gaming chassis that provides a touch of class with its chrome edging, ARGB lighting, and tempered glass front and side panels. It shares many of the great features we loved in the Gungnir 110R with a different aesthetic and several new innovations that caught our attention. Conversely, if you prefer an RGB-less build, be sure to check out the Sekira 100P. It is the same chassis as the Sekira 100R, without all the flashy lights or tempered glass front panel.

G.Skill Announces Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 Ram Kits

Yesterday, G.Skill announced its latest flagship DDR5 ram, the Trident Z5, and Z5 RGB series. Designed specifically for the upcoming next-generation Intel CPUs, the Trident Z series is well known among PC enthusiasts and overclocking gurus. G.Skill is committed to maintaining the Trident Z reputation by utilizing Samsung ICs, highly regarded for high performance and overclocking ability. Three kits of both RGB and non-RGB will be available by November and have frequencies of 5600 MHz, 6000 Mhz, and 6400 MHz. Capacities are currently 32 GBs (16GBx2) per kit for the initial launch.
