AGP to SLI question

You can see the video card I have in my profile.I saw this video card, and was wondering how a pair of these in 16x SLI mode would compare to an AGP 6800GT(OC'd beyond 6800 Ultra speeds)?

At first it looked like it would be a huge performance boost---until I saw that each card only had 8 pipelines.I wasnt sure if any pipes are unlockable on this card,either.

So...whats your educated opinion?

Two of these cards would cost about $200 after the rebates.

I dunno if the 2 6800 XTs would be much better than a 6800 GT. Also, you only get 1 rebate per house. I personally couldn't justify buying a PCI-E board and those two cards.

Before I pose any recommendations, why do you want to go PCI-E?

If you wanna switch to pci-e, i would just pick up a 7600gt. Can always add another one later, and they go for around the same price you can sell your 6800gt for.
