Hey Im back! '

very interesting. I have tried 4100 hmz (which was stable before my woro woro with cpu, and was stable with everything default, green stuff on,. and just changed multiplier)

. When I try to OC with multiplier only and green stuff off and only CLL set to high my mouse freeze in test .. Could it be there something wrong?
EDIT:
Im testing 4000 mhz with all green stuff off and CPU LLC set to High. Well I m also thinking about using different test now. Cos I have used Blend test not the "small FFTs" But I worked with 4100 mhz almost 3 months withoun single crash or something.

EDIT2: Im also thinking about something like "limit of multiplier" So IF my limit multiplier is 20 (4000mhz) Then I will need to increase FSB A LOT! And When I am increasing FSB/Bus speed I have to increase CPU NB right? But how much with increasing FSP to 210 f.e.?
Everything I want now Is 4500 mhz on my AMD :( Later I would buy SSD, Better ram memory, and even new mobo :) To get something like 5000 :)

What the hell is WRONG WITH THIS GREEN STUFF. IM not even stable on multiplier 20! which is 4000 mhz where I was 100% stable !!! Or it is ****ting me the CPU LLC setted on high? Or whaaaaaaaaat

I'm at a loss !

Or Am I under attack of my ram memory? Which were stable and now arent?!

EDIT: Another thing what im going to do if it fails again. I will get tape and tape fan to blow onto VRM, Where exactly it is located? I m looking at Dual Intelligent processor II thing. I dont know how to call that, so Located it from there pls :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. It is stable at 3600 mhz with turbo off and all green stuff off for 22 minutes now. If am I right, there is no ram issue at all I think, because if it would be ram then it would not be stable even on 3600, just correct me if I am wrong.
And if it was the cpu green stuff would it be unstable on every mhz aswell?

So prolly main reason is CPU LLC and voltages I think, anyone some ideas?

Would help increasing vcore at like 1.45 to get rid of that freezing?

So lets say If I set mutliplier to give me 4.5 ghz and then I will play with voltages by increasing them by 0.025 lets say. You think I would get somewhere stable OC without doing anything else?

Pls read 3 threads above yours with pictures and try to asnwer me all my questions :( thanks

if you are trying my setting, then just lower the multi by 1.0 , and leave averything as is

Ok IM trying a lot of thing. I will try to reduce the multiplier by 1. But now iM trying the yesterday setup with "dat throtlling" and ye it trottles a bit but Vcore stays same and even MHz stays same when its at 70W usage isntead of 203W and it reach 61 temp cpu and 37 core cpu and then it starts to lower the temps with throtlling BUT ITS NOT FREEZING'!!!!!!!! :D Do you want screen of it?

EDIT2: here you can see the picture of cpu and hwmonitor
okey it does lower the MHZ to 1417 while trotlling

EDIT3: 15 minutes stable'

EDIT4: Is trottling a big issue? OR why is it bad? Stable for almost 20 minutes :)

Throttling is the MHZ drop from say 4.2 to 1.4ghz for short periods of time. if ONLY temps go up-and down while MGH stays the same constantly you have no problem. Can you download OCCT and run a OOOCT:CPUtest for 20 min ,then take a screen shot (with the OCCT monitoring tab open)

like this:

It like rising temps, rising, rising, then comes trottling and temps start to lower, and they lower, lower until they get stable at 33 core adn 57 cpu temp

EDIT4: Is trottling a big issue? OR why is it bad? Stable for 20 minutes

ye downloading OCCT

The thing with throttling is, that it is usefull in some cases. For OC its not, because you want to run the CPU at 4.6 constantly (thats why you oc) you need the extra performance that 600mhz gives you. If the CPU starts to throttle then you might as well run it on stock because you loose performance when it constantly throttles between 4.6 and 1.4 throttles (from what i have seen if you have throttleing you will only run 4.6ghz for 40-50% of the time, the rest is 1.4. wich averages to 3ghz of constant (when stock is 3.6)

and if i`m wrong , please correct me.

Why is it trottling? When all green stuff off...

EDIT2: !!!!! !!! !! ! ! ! ! HOLY !! It jumped at 9691 mhz ! WTF WTF bus speed was 558...

from what i see. it starts when you hit 61C wich is wierd core is not even at 45(the point from where it is reliable) try to get 4.2 with higer FSB 220-230 and lower multi (with same volts ) do not forget to keep HTlink,CPU/NB speed under 2600mhz and ram under 1700mz

EDIT you do have the 6+2 power phase M5A97 . right? END EDIT

here the pictures

I have M5A97 pro, not sure what 6+2 power phase is.

Okey I will try to lower multiplier and use more FSP

EDIT2: 4250 mhz memory 1172 mhz, NB and HT 2420 mhz is it ok?

go higher with the memory between 1500 and 1700 if you can. and based on what i see you should be golden but still....

Did you notice the 9700 mhz mark?? Is that even normal? How can it be so high? Im testing the OCCT right now with 1197 memory mhz :( I will set it higher after test

i just ignore those anomaliess. it`s software bug . heck if those whould be true i whould have cooked my CPU a long time ago when i usualy see v-core jumps to 4v... and temps to 130c...
