What settings?

:bday:

Gap 3, intensity doesn't do jack for UTC. Gap 2 is about 80 and gap 1 is 67ish. Not as profitable as YAC for me.

Buffer size is nice for testing different lookup gaps.

EDIT: 240s don't break 25k.

Is UTC locked at N=11 or does it increase? I'd love a coin with a nice exchange rate at N=15-18 or so...

What's up with ultracoin?

Not getting coherent hash rates out of yacminer lately...didn't experiment much with it.

anyone got settings for the r9 270? :p

I'm trying stuff remotely and it freezes my windows machine lol, stupid windows.

--sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 -d 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24576 -I 16

Gets 95 Kh on my 270x.

I'm not using the new yacminer though.

Oh, Silver, you're missing out on yacminer 3.5...it really is awesome :D

Just set --shaders, --buffer-size, --lookup-gap and -R and off you go.
It auto selects TC based on those values. Works like a charm, took it 30 sec to find my ideal tc value for LG 3 and R 1264 on my 240s, something which took me a fair bit of experimenting on the previous version.

Mining yac on the 240s and skein myr on the 270 now. :D

EDIT: nailed UTC...funny that it matches a 7950 heh.

D:\yacminer\sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://ultra.nitro.org:3337 -u ivanlabrie.1 -p x --scrypt-chacha --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600 --no-submit-stale --expiry 10 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --gpu-engine 0-1100 --gpu-memclock 1200 --gpu-fan 70-100 --temp-target 85 --temp-cutoff 100 --temp-overheat 90 --auto-gpu --auto-fan --rawintensity 5120 --buffer-size 1400 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2

That's good for 92kh/s with an R9 270, mining N factor 11 scrypt-chacha coins.

Oh, didn't know that.

? There is no xintensity in the new yacminer.....

+ I'm mining Myriad right now, and the 6850 can't mine UTC now that the n-factor has changed.

There is xintensity in 3.4.2 and 3.5.0. G>X in the console after it starts.

EDIT: And 3.4.1...

Oh by the way, I haven't seen any speed boosts moving to newer versions of yacminer. The new features make configging a lot quicker but I don't think anything has been done that affects the actual efficiency of the miner.

Well today would have been the day to sell UTC. The price went over .0004 BTC. It is down from the high but still about .00027.

AWwww yisss time to cash out my ~48 UTC for some cold hard buttcoins!

I did some trading, buying at cryptsy and selling at crypto-trade during the pump...fun times. Mining MRC on my rig, and UTC on the farm rigs.

Well crap, all this trading and pump has to happen when I'm on vacation. Stupid Miami beaches giving poor cell signal (first world problems!)

ultra.nitro.org is having a promotion to split their pool to avoid having over 51% of the hash power.

By request from the developers of ultracoin and the ultracoin community we have now created ultra Nitro 2 this promotion is offered to all miners on Nitro.

All Miners at nitro now have duplicate accounts on Nitro2 even your workers and worker passwords have been duplicated. If you make a move and start mining at Nitro2 you will receive the following reward from Bumface the Founder of ultracoin. Any miner at nitro with 5MH or higher and moves to Nitro2 will get 100UTC for the first 25 miners to move in this category will get the reward. The first 100 miners that do not fall into the first category or do not make the first 25 rewards will receive a 25UTC reward.

So the first 125 miners from Nitro to move to Nitro 2 will get 125 rewards. Total rewards given will be equal to 5000 UTC. I will compile a list of miners who made the move and submit it to Bumface. Remember the rewards are only for miners at Nitro and not for new registrations on Nitro2. To qualify for this reward you must have had an account on Nitro prior to 3/1/2014 and must have mined at Nitro for more than a month.

To make the move you do not need to change but one thing on your miner settings, change port number from 3337 to 4337

You do not need to create an account on Nitro2 you can login to Nitro2 with current credentials from Nitro.

You can now use ultra.nitro.org:3337 as failover for ultra.nitro.org:4337 and vice versa.

The purpose of this promotion is to create more balanced pools overall and not have one pool with higher than

51% of total Hashrate.

We will post new improved optimized settings on the homepage today also to help miners get higher hashrate for scrypt-jane thanks to the work of Untalented.

Also, they have updated settings for a bunch of cards.

1.Sometimes on HD7950/7970/280X cards gives better results --thread-concurrency 16484
2.If one of your cards is less efficient than it should have, reboot your system (Windows / Linux).

Note that the more memory the cards have, the better they do.

Switched my 3x290x+290 machine back over to ultra from waffle. For 6MH/s yesterday I earned a whopping .019
