Found another block today. Nice getting a 50utc bump! According to the stats on nitro I've found 18 so far

I will post a config here follow these for better hashes.

Add some good configs in the comments, and I'll edit the post accordingly!
Sorry I'm still a bit of a newb, you using a config file with cgwatcher to launch?

not using cgwatcher but those are the config changes you need to make . note the TC and Intensity changes mostly.

the N-factor changes are really causing alot of peoples clients to get hw errors so you need to adjust things in order to keep hashing properly.

For the settings you posted, did the TC increase or decrease?
Intensity needs to be lowered correct?

Yep, I have my 290Xs at 165 and 155 and my 290 at 160 (and 7950 at 100).

From my testing I stuck with single thread but using much higher TC with moderate intensity (16-18 seems to be normal)

Thanks. If I'm not going to mine it, I'd at least like to know why things were not working.

EDIT: Finally up and mining UTC! 101Kh using -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24576 -I 16. 1205 Core 1500 Mem 1.2 Vddc.

Let's hope it hold without HW errors.

Have you messed with lookup gap at all?

TC will go higher with each N-factor in order for intensity to keep a bit higher.

but you have to remember it uses more and more memory- i recommend min 8 gb in pc . and obv videocards with larger mem can go higher then others aswell.

the big thing about those changes is using high TC and higher intensity to avoid the hw errors otherwise you have to drop intensitys down alot in order to use lower TC setups and it slows down hash power.

I'll know this afternoon if ~6gb of system ram can load a ~4gb thread size. Unless you've got a GPU with >4gb vram, 8gb should be plenty. You do need more than 4gb however, lest you be limited to threads of around 1800mb.

This is also assuming you want to run one thread. If you are willing to run more than 1 you can easily fill out a 4gb card without that much system ram, but you'll also probably take a hit in hash rate if it takes more than 2 threads to do that.

Its not a pump Janus . crypsy introduced voting system and UTC is #1 on the votes list atm so its mostlikely going to get added today or tommorow . this combined with it recently being voted onto Mintpal means very large volumes of trade are starting to happen driving the price up..

Ultracoin was trading very very High +0.0013 the first few days of its coming onto the market but the volume dried up on what was a relatively new exchange.

Then it started to trade really well again 0.0005+ on Crypto-Trade before the site was hacked and messed up the value. Now being on 2 quite large exchanges its speculated to hit +0.001 again some predicting 1-2$ values in the next weeks to come.

I for one would sure like to see this happen i've been mining and investing in the coin since before it hit the exchanges.

Edit* updated OP with more info for those who still would like to follow utc closer.

Mwahaha, love the smell of scrypt-jane in the morning...hey kona, ready to have some fun with this coin? Higher N factors are coming and we got low end cards to play with.

750ti already beating a 290X at it :p (335kh/s)

Yup, my r9 270 with some finetuning (and a superior miner, yacminer) can do 84kh/s right now. 0 hw

It sucks that I can't oc at all (1000/1400) otherwise I'd be in 290X territory with it.

240+270.JPG

R7 240 2Gb's mining yac at 1100mhz core and 900mhz mem, and r9 270 at 1000/1400 mining UTC with yacminer.

290x atm gets max 185 ish kh/s with a 1100/1350 clock rate.

this is in ultracoin each n-factor change has dropped down kh/s but coin production is still decent.
