My rig:
[email protected] (150 fsb)
512mb xms pc3200
ati Radeon 9700 pro
windows xp sp1

The stock on the radeon is 325/310...right?
I've upped it to, or think I did, using radeon tweak to 330/330. The reason I post this is because my 3dmark2001 scores have been dropping. Not that it really matters, but it just bothers me. I've had 16144 with [email protected], but now 3ghz, it's dropped. wtf?:( :(

The only thing i could imagine that would lower your score from at 3ghz is the speed your memory is running. Do you have to back down to a lower memory divider at that speed, as opposed to 3/4 or higher at 2.95 ghz?

I didn't touch the memory divider speed.
Yesterday, I was able to get 16160 with [email protected] (149fsb)
But 3dmark would crash sometimes. Also, hot cpu tester would crash as well. I upped the vcore of cpu to 1.550 but I think it's still unstable.

I have no clue what the problem could be.

But it doesnt crush all the time. Right now I'm back to [email protected], 150fsb and it does not crush at all. The score just doesn't go over 16k.

The comp does not freeze or shows error messages anymore.
