Well I just moved and destroyed one of my fans on my hs... I broke the the shaft off the fan and I am now in the market for new fans and I want to stick with quiet and cheap fans... Which one to choose or suggest something better.. My limit is around $10 buck a piece and I am not sure but I might be getting the the new nzxt tempest 210 ...My spec are down below

Fan needed-
4 x 120mm - 1 fan for front of case , 2 for push n pull setup on hs , 1 just extra in case of one breaking
1x 140mm or 120 mm for top mount on case but not sure to go with 140mm or 120mm

Idea for the fans

the high speed yates run very well at 5v. not sure how much the cfm is affected by it though.

i run 18 of them on my rad tower at 5v and they are really quiet. at full speed they are fairly loud. i just wired up a switch to change them from 12v to 5v.

I have 4 of them in my case and they are lovely and quiet turned down, you can't hear them at all over my CPU cooler, I was thinking of putting a pair on that too but it would look kinda ugly with the mounts or I would have. I think the finish on them is really nice. I seriously doubt they move 90cfm but whatever. If you have them on a fan controller they are great if not they would probably be horribly noisy in a quiet room. They are cheap as chips too. Better than I expected for the price. They are really well balanced too I have one glued to my case with no rubber and it doesn't vibrate at all.

lol yeah 90 sounded way too optimistic. 19dba is definitely not at full whack either.

Check the Enermax Appolish Vegas, 16dba @800rpm for the quiet times and 84.6cfm @2000rpm for the cool times and groovy lights for the rest of the time! Just don't both getting a spare and they'll work out the same price.
