I found this from a very helpful member and the reason for this post is to start a debate about Ram Modules for ones PC, i feel this could be a good subject.

For all the new members looking for Advice and for guests looking in at our OCF Forums.

So i would like to kick start things with the new Ram i have ordered and a Company which until now i have never heard of. Which seems very interesting to high end users and most of all to you Gamers who could benefit from this type of Ram!!

Most of the new Ram Modules can be Custom Made and Shipped to you Door, the hardest decision to make is what color you want. Or how much bling would you like. AJ.;)

Here is a example how you can customize your Ram and even have your own name on the side of the Sticks!! :attn:

Love the idea of customizing your name on the sticks with lighting. That's freaking awesome!

Lets hope this ram outperforms it's counterparts.

Question here is, Is it some crappy ram they put a flashy heat-sink on and try to pass it off as something high end? OR Pretty decent ram thats new to the market and brings the OOMPH back into custom building?

Any reviews?

As far as I can see. The led on the top of the heat-sink would only increase the heat not really help reduce it. But i could be wrong.

Apparently they are up there or can hold their own. I still haven't researched much let alone finding out about them today.

I would think the lighting is beefed up by the camera as it makes the colors pop out more and make the lighting brighter than it actually is and believe those are LEDs so the only heat generated would be by the ram.

Still think they look catchy and the fact you can get some custom work done to it. Question is how much? lol

So your asking for Reviews OK no problem here are some to look at and judge for yourselves!! ;)

I would say take a look at no 3 and see the Difference here!!

If this RAM can beat your Corsair Dominators, this is no gimmick, read and learn about a Company that's been supplying Ram for Years.

Also i think i am right in saying to get these kind of top quality results they use the finest chips. I understand they are HYNIX or SAMSUNG chips which i was told are the best on the market for Ram. These people have been making Ram for other vendors, but never bothered to market there own products. So enjoy the new way of buying ram that matches your PC color Scheme and with a added bit of Bling. AJ.

Even though I've boycotted Samsung for years now, I have heard they make great memory chips. Really well in OCing.

Unfortunately, I am not sure if it's Nvidia who buys Samsung memory or each 3rd parties that are involved Gigabyte, EVGA and the like etc, Samsung memory ran out and got replaced with Elpida. Apparently the first batches of GPU's for EVGA had Samsung till it got switched to Elpida all while the whining, kicking, screaming and crying had started.

Point is, I had no idea that those memory chips on our GPU's PCB were Samsung or Scamsung as I like to call them for other reasons :p, are favored and perform up to par for some time now.

The main reason i am buying this type of Ram is that Woomack told me it would be a good match for both of my CPU's and the set up, i am building here. The next i suppose is i like the blue bit of Bling to match in with the color scheme here.

But looking at the results and seeing it beats most other Ram makes me feel really happy, and its cheaper to buy than your corsair
Dom's.

My only question, how tall are these?

They're definitely not ridiculous like Dominator or Trident stuff, but the Blitz stuff seems to be taller while the Core stuff is shorter.

Am i reading this Wrong??????

DDR3 3000 @ CL12? Sounds about right
DDR3 3200 @ CL12? Sounds right there, too.

Chips that can do those speeds reliably enough to be sold at that speed are rare.

G.SKILL Trident DDR3 3000 is $690

The 2400 units i have coming are reasonably priced and should help with my Benching this end Atmin. But as the saying goes you only get what you pay for!! And these are quality Chips by all accounts. AJ.

Yeah, 2400 seems to be a sweet spot for price/performance for benching RAM.

I just wish I could find a tri stick set that's better than 1600...

Well, they certainly have my attention, and possibly money here soon lol. This is how you advertise RAM, lol!
