whats a good stability tester

When I'm going for absolute stability of the mem and cpu (ignoring graphics), I usually run 24+ hours of memtest86 (running all tests), 48+ hours of cpuburn, and 5 days or so of prime95. It may border on the obsessive....

I'd say you crossed the border and then some LOL  Suppose you run with high priority enabled as well?

Personally, I use Prime95 for one thread and run an instance of CPUBurn for the other thread, to fully load the CPU.

Another good way would be to run Prime95 on one thread with a Quake 3 bot server running on the other.

Load the arena to the limit with bots, and set the fraglimit to 0.

Come back in 24 hours and if it's still running, it's stable...:)

i wouldnt run folding for stabilty testing because you will produce wrong results...make sure your stable with prime and other programs before you run folding.
