NVIDIA Announces Titan RTX: Business Up Front, Party in Back!

Today, NVIDIA has announced its latest release using the Turing architecture with its Titan RTX. This follows the heels of the Quadro RTX that was announced in August. NVIDIA positions the card more for the prosumer than a consumer/gaming card but will still manage to be the fastest card most can buy. The Titan RTX will cost $2499 and will be available later this month.

MSI GTX 1070 Ti TITANIUM Video Card Review

Today we get a chance to test the newest addition to MSI’s Pascal lineup, the GTX 1070 Ti Titanium 8G video card. The announcement of a GTX 1070 Ti sparked a lot of discussion on the tech forums. Speculations on performance and price but the big question was WHY? If I had a definitive answer I’d gladly share, but I don’t. What I will share however are some performance figures and overclocking results.

As the name says this is the Titanium version with at familiar silvery finish matching MSI’s Titanium motherboard line nicely. Built on their custom PCB which MSI refers to as the “Gaming” PCB, it has plenty of power to drive it and their TwinFrozr VI cooling solution to tame it. This should give us some overclocking headroom and we’ll see just how much soon enough.

MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM Motherboard Review

The MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM is quite a mouthful but it’s also an amazing looking motherboard. The Titanium line from MSI has, in recent years, been their “top of the line” offering. It comes loaded with extras and has a unique styling which sets this board apart from it’s siblings. Currently it’s sitting in the upper price range of the AM4 X370 motherboards at $259.99 from newegg.com.

MSI Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard Review

Our next Z270 based board we will review is from MSI and is their current flagship board in the MSI Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium. If you remember our review of the Z170 version from way back in 2015, they managed to merge both a quality gaming motherboard, and a very solid overclocking motherboard into one pretty cool Titanium/Silver motherboard. While not much has changed going from Z170 to Z270, we’ll look at some of the features on the board, and make sure it still performs with the rest of them. Grab a soda, sit back, and enjoy!

MSI Z170A MPower Gaming Titanium Motherboard Review

Today we are going to dig in and look at a Z170-based motherboard from our friends at MSI. They have been pretty creative with their lineup and themes. From Gaming boards to the more budget conscious Krait line, there is something for everyone. MSI has taken the venerable MPower and XPower lines and added a titanium silver color theme, and a few feature updates on top of typically great overclocking abilities. Welcome to MSI’s stable and to our test bench, the MSI Z170A MPower Gaming Titanium. Not only does it have the standout looks, the MPower and XPower lines are known to overclock pretty well. Let’s see what the added features are and if it still has the gusto to push on your CPU in our performance tests.

MSI Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium Edition Motherboard Review

Our next motherboard review comes courtesy of MSI. This go around, we get a chance to look at their flagship offering, the Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium Edition motherboard… wow was that a mouthful! On the cover, it looks like the board is a mashup between the monster, overclocking based, flagship XPower series we as overclockers love, and their black and white themed Krait line which focuses more on budget minded gaming. Being an avid overclocker, I am hoping MSI sticks to their roots on the XPower Gaming Titanium Edition and takes care of the overclockers. Bless your heart gamers, but your demographic is pretty easy to take care of in most cases. Let’s see where the needle lands when we look at MSI’s flagship Z170 motherboard!
