if people found that installing large amounts of RAM caused drops in memory benchmarks. We found a slight but insignificant dropoff in memory benchmark scores. — Ed

I could put up five pages of screenshots, or I could tell you in just a paragraph. I vote for literacy. 🙂

Usually, but not always, people found a slight dropoff in performance as a result of using additional RAM. The typical dropoff came in between 0.5-2.0%. The worst reported was about 4%. The slight dropoff is probably due to multichip memory access. These differences are insignificant, and nothing to worry about.
