Another pleasant Sunday morning! I've noticed several people either wanting to or going ahead with giving AstroPulse a try. Don't know what kind of numbers that will yield as yet but keep in mind you can't run optimized while using it. As we get numbers to work with I'll try and let you know how it's working out.

william has kept a steady pace and taken the 2,000,000 Milestone!

Back on track for the weekly update! As I've been away for the last few days at a local conference I haven't been watching the stats much this week so we'll get right to it!


Razorface has crossed the 8,000,000 Milestone and is coming up fast on second place!

The One has made the 1,500,000 Milestone!

Codeman05 is now in the ranks of the Top 50!

RuthlessRufus,
Ivan, and
Hammer are all new members of the 7-Digit Club!

ddcst3 has passed the 600,000 Milestone!

Nebulous has made the 250,000 Milestone while making his way into the Top 150!

MrGuvernment has also made the Quarter Million Marker!

Alec Hussey has crunched over 200,000 Cobblestones!

Drinkyoghurt has passed the 150,000 Milestone!

roms611 is now a part of the Top 200!

Milestone Update!

An interesting week with several of our members breaking through big Milestones. Here in the Midwest temps are down and I, for one, will be cranking things up a little in the coming weeks now that it doesn't take an A/C unit to keep things cool! Several big Milestones this week and starting them off ...


Svirfnebli, in 4th Place, has passed the 7,000,000 Milestone!

boox2 has raced past the 6,000,000 Milestone!

ocfolders has steadily crunched their way through the 2,000,000 Milestone!

marcjb has regained his position in the Top 100!

Intel P4 [email protected] GHz has worked up to the 400,000 Milestone!

sfrailey has cruised by the 200,000 Milestone!

Bryan Glenn has crossed into the Top 200!


And an OC*SETI to
Chris Schaeffer, who has made the 50,000 Milestone!
Chris has been crunching since September with a Quad and also has a Turion and a couple of Pents for an RAC of ~1600. We'll be seeing more of him soon!

I'm not surprised. I was using my laptop as my main and it was doing 1500-1600RAC, but now I only use that during class so yeah, output fell off quickly. But hey, I think I'm going to contact Intel in the next few days since this thing is fine idle put then temps skyrocket under load, so I've been trying to keep it around 25-30% use (have a thread in the cpu section.)

Milestones Update

The first week of November is finally here, midterms are over, and we've almost seen the end of all the political ads - life is good! For some reason there was a jump in DAC pretty much across the board this week, very strange. Did I miss an optimizer release or something? ;->

Milestones Update

Here we are with Thanksgiving closing in on us and the weather is definitely getting cool. Here in KC we even had a trace of snow last week! My crunchers are running full out and I will hopefully find time in the coming two weeks to add a couple more - as I hope a few more of you out there will. The Milestones got missed last week but I hope to maintain a weekly schedule again now that I have more free time.

For those who haven't heard (I just found out this week) an AstroPulse optimizer is out now for Windows. The *.xml file in the thread also shows how to run AstroPulse along with the regular AK_v8 optimizer - nice!
