i have a tbird with 750 core o/c to 969 and it runs 36c at idle and 43c under load...it wont go to one Ghz with these temps...core voltage at 2.05. just running dual aavid fans rite now...any input on a different fan would be appreciated....just not a fan so loud that i dont wanna boot up because it sounds like a hair dryer....

TURN DOWN YOUR CORE VOLTAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TBird 750 + 129Mhz FSB + 2.05v = 969Mhz AND 91.1 Watts of heat...thats a hell of a lot of heat for a heatsink to dissipated either drop the core voltage like cFusion so nicely said or goto watercooling...if no then try 1.9v should run stable and is 78.2W so your HSF won't sweat.....as much....
