I know it seems like most are concentrating mainly on newer hardware right now, but thought I'd ask.

Also, a question for those that are more familiar with LGA1155, what is the max safe voltage for air cooling on LGA1155. Rather not blow my stuff up trying for higher clocks, and I'm already at 1.43v for 4.7GHz with this 2500K. Hadn't read that whole thread about overclocking 2500K/2600K to 4.5GHz, but saw some mentioned 1.35v, some said 1.4v, some others said 1.45v. Wondering if I have any breathing room left to overclock this higher, or if I'm at the vCore limit already.

Tested some cards for the GeForce 8 stage. My 8400 GS got 45k (no help there), my 8600 GTS hit 190-205K (then started artifacting after the run at the highest OC I tried). Need to try the 8800 GS next, not sure what it will be capable of.

If I get my board out to you Saturday and if you can get it working and get it back to me in time, I do! Have a 2500k and 2600k but no idea what they can do. Spi32 on that platform...what's the best ram? Hypers? Psc? Something else?

Come to think of it, I think you did mention you had a 2500K and 2600K earlier. Just didn't know if anyone else was looking at this stage, or if there would be overlap in hardware.

Well, the highest frequency I've ever achieved with RAM on 1155 (with air cooling) was 1149.7MHz, and had to significantly increase the BCLK to do it (107.78MHz) (without overclocking the BCLK it would have been 1066.7MHz if I did my calculations correctly). My guess is whatever can achieve DDR3-2133 to DDR3-2300 (aka 1066.5MHz to 1150MHz) at say CAS 8 or better, though I'm certainly not an expert on DDR3 memory.

My 1600MHz rated PSC (1040 G.SKILL) did a maximum of 1900MHz in dual channel, and I never tested a single stick by itself (just didn't occur to me at the time). Rated to 7-8-7-24 at 1600MHz, ran them at 10-10-10-24 1T at 1900MHz.

I know 1600MHz rated Elpida (0640 G.SKILL) tops out around 1950MHz on air (my sticks did anyway). Rated to 9-9-9-24-2T at 1600MHz, ran them at 12-12-12-32-2T at 1950MHz.

My 1866MHz rated Nanya eTT/uTT (2100 G.SKILL) was able to do 2000MHz on air (might be capable of more, but never pushed them much as they were in my main PC). Rated to 9-10-9-28 at 1866MHz, ran them in dual channel at 11-11-11-32-2T at 2000MHz.

I was trying to improve gpupi score but I just can't make anything better than jiccman has. I got almost the same score but it's still far from next step.
I also can't get mobile SB. All that I got recently were or 1st gen core or 4+ :| ... at home I have 3/6. Will keep looking.
I can add DDR4 score but it will still take couple of days as Z270 is in the box right now.
We have results on most other hardware that I have and I don't think I'm able to beat most of these results.

I sold all hynix ddr3 kits long time ago and only left 3x tridentx kits and some 2GB sticks ( psc etc ) so ~2850 max.
I can't promise when but for sure I will back to z270 before competition ends. I will probably get supermicro z270 board for review if customs won't make problems. I wonder how it works. I'm not expecting 4400+ memory clock but I still have apex for that.

I have 1 hynix 'overclockers dream' ddr3 stick. That should be my best chance. Was able to get it running at 1528 http://valid.x86.fr/f6y0pw

Hiya jicc! Put in a crappy 5ghz xtu sub with the 6700k. Have one that's a little better so will go ahead and upload it when home again. Played with the 7700k and 8800gt last night. Will get the cpu dialed in cold then take a shot at aq3 with cold cpu and card. Will try to get a cold ddr3 sub this week
