update BIOS

Is it a good idea to update the bios whenever a new version is out or only to update when you run into problems?

my understanding is that dont mess with the bios unless you have problems but there is also a new version out for my mobo. I am using ez flash...

I update mine with every update. There usuallly several optimizations made to justify each update.
My opinion.
But do use ezflash or AFUDOS, I'd shy away from the asusupdate; too many chances for a major fubar.
