I overclocked my P4 from 1.5 to 1.65. When i booted up, window xp freaked out. It said that possible dammage could occur and i should reboot. I did, got the same screen again. I was able to get into safemode. But i can't get into normal mode. I am running an ABIT TH7II-R, and Win XP PRO

I had the same problem.

I went into my bios and upped the vcore and 3.3 volts 1 increment and the problem went away.

BTW: If no ones told you, Welcome to the forums!

Hope this helps.:)

Looks like XP doesn't like your overclock. Reduce FSB or increase voltage - that should work.
