ADATA Falcon and Swordfish NVMe SSD Review: Pushing the Price/Performance Boundary

In recent years, ADATA has gained recognition as one of the global leaders of DRAM memory and Flash application products. They recently launched two new fast PCI-Express x4 3.0 NVMe 1.3 drives, which push the performance per price boundary. The FALCON and SWORDFISH come in at just 13 and 12 cents per gigabyte respectively. Despite the remarkably low price, performance is still quite good. They even managed to include a stylish heatsink to help with thermal throttling and add a little bling to your build.

The ADATA SE760 solves this problem by delivering NVMe performance with a USB Type-C interface. With a sequential read speed of 1,000 MB/s and compatibility on Windows, Mac OS, Android, Xbox One, and PS4 consoles, this new breed of portable storage strikes a balance between portability and raw transfer speed.

ADATA Launches SE760 External Solid State Drive

ADATA Technology, a leader in high-end memory modules, has announced the release of the ADATA SE760 external solid-state drive (SSD). The SE760 features a sleek design with high-speed performance, with read speeds of up to 1000 MB/s when using the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface. At this time it comes in three sizes, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Pricing has was not mentioned.

ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D60G DDR4 3200 Review

Today we are evaluating a new offering in the RGB DDR4 world. ADATA just released the XPG SPECTRIX D60G, which promises more RGB lighting surface area than any other module on the market. A whopping 9,497mm2 of the module’s surface area is covered in visible RGB light, which turns out to be over 60%. It’s clear that ADATA is making a bold statement with RGB lighting, but what does that mean for the performance? With a newly acquired test sample, we are going to investigate the performance and overclocking capabilities of the all-new D60G.
