can i use ddr3l with phenom 2 x6 1100t?

hey guys...now m using athlon 2 x2 245(i knw its bull s***t) nd 8gb ddr3l 1600mhz...my mobo is asus m5a78l mlx v2...now m planning to upgrade to phenom 2 x6 1100t....my qstin is is phenom supports ddr3l??some online articles show that it supports upto 1333mhz ram....

any reply will be hwlpfull....

You can just run the DDR3L at normal (higher) voltage and it should be ok.

ddr3l is 1.35v....
so can i use it instead of buying new ram??

Regular DDR3 is 1.5v, chances are DDR3L modules would work fine at 1.5v also.

You can run the 1600 mhz low voltage RAM at 1333 mhz and 1.5 volts if that's what you are asking. But you can also manually reduce the voltage in bios to 1.35 if you take that voltage setting off of Auto.
