Alphacool Announces Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N GPU Waterblock

Alphacool just announced another Nvidia 30 series water block. The Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3090/3080 GPU water block is the full-cover type with nickel-plated copper and an acetal top. One of the unique features of this block is its two G1/4″ inlet ports located on the end of the block as opposed to the top. This is said to work for server applications as well as in a normal desktop configuration. These are priced around $165 USD. Here is Alphacool’s announcement.

Alphacool Eisblock ES Acetal RTX 3080/3090 Reference

Alphacool presents the Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 GPU watercooling block. The block is specially developed for the server sector. Nevertheless, it also fits into normal desktop computers or small form factor cases. Of course, it is also available to our end customers.
A special feature of this block is the terminal with the G1/4″ ports is located at the rear end of the cooler. This arrangement saves space and makes it much easier to lay and connect the tubing, especially in server cases.
Alphacool naturally only uses copper in its water coolers. In the Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 the copper is nickel-plated. Compared to the previous models, Alphacool has improved the type of nickel plating again, which significantly increased the acid resistance.

Sure looks pretty but that design will take some considerable redesigning of my water loop. Any word if all their 3080/90 water blocks will have the ports on the end like that?

They are not all like that. Most aren't in fact. This one was designed for watercooling in servers but it might work in some desktops as well. At the bottom of the article is the related articles section. Here's the link.
