It’s that time of year again, folks! CES is back and is close to 100% (from pre-COVID days). The team at Overclockers.com will be there to cover all the cool things our partners have to offer. Although only one of us is attending this year, we have well over a dozen meetings scheduled across three days, while on the fourth (Saturday), we’ll hit the convention center floor and bring you some fantastic items from there as well.
What is the Consumer Electronics Show?
Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the largest conventions with exhibitors for everything technology. Some categories you can expect to see at the show are smart home, metaverse, virtual reality, entertainment, and even our specialty computer hardware and accessories. Each year, thousands of attendees gather in Las Vegas for the event.
Here are some stats about this year’s Consumer Electronics Show…
- 2,000,000+ net square feet/186,000m2 of exhibits (50% bigger than CES 2022)
- Nearly 1000 new exhibitors and more than 2400 in total
- One of the largest global auto shows
- 2100 CES 2023 Innovation Award entries – a record
- 100,000 attendee goal with 1/3 from outside the U.S.
- Sold out Media Days on Jan. 3-4
- 3000+ media registered
Overclockers.com CES 2023 Coverage Plan
We plan to get a few news articles out each evening, with coverage bleeding into the following Monday as we catch up with everything upon return. All CES-related articles will have the “CES 2023” prefix in front of it to identify them as part of this endeavor, making them easy to find in our search. We’ll list all the news here by the company for quick links, whereas all of the CES articles will be in the General Hardware Recent News sections.
Below is our general itinerary. The plan is to knock out Nvidia Day 1, then at least five articles each day until we’re finished. As time goes on and the news articles for CES get published, we’ll add the links here for quick access, and you’ll see them on the front page.
Day 1: Wednesday, January 4th
We go to the Cosmopolitan hotel immediately after landing in the afternoon.
Day 2: Thursday, January 5th
Here is where things start to get busy. We’ll be at the MGM early, then at the Venetian most of this day.
Day 3: Friday, January 4th
Today’s adventures bring us to the Bellagio early and back to the Venetian for the last appointment of the day.
Day 4: Saturday, January 5th
We’ll be headed to the massive show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center to explore all the exhibits.
Is there something you want to see at CES? Let us know, and we’ll see what we can do!
